Retail Terms & Conditions

The use of this website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions and is conditional on your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any conditions stated on this website do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Returns Policy

ShadeMe tries to ensure that the products it sells to you are of good quality and value for money. If, however, your purchase does not meet this standard then we offer a 21 day return guarantee. You can return our product to us at anytime within 21 days from the date you received it provided that the product is unused and in resalable condition.

Please note that the return guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

We cannot accept items which have been used or opened unless they are defective or incorrect (i.e. do not comply with your initial order). 

When returning any product to us under this guarantee you must specify the reason for the return and whether you require an exchange or a refund. This applies to all of our products, except suncreams and lotions which cannot be returned for exchange or refund unless a fault has been identified with the product upon arrival.

If a product is returned by you because of an error on our part, then we will refund the reasonable delivery costs incurred by you in sending the product back to us. If you are returning a product, other than as a consequence of an error on our part, then we will only refund the cost of the product excluding any delivery charges incurred by us in sending the product originally or any costs incurred by you in returning it.

If you are requesting an exchange of product, other than because of an error by us, then we reserve the right to charge you any additional delivery costs.

We recommend that when returning items to us, you use recorded delivery or obtain a proof of posting from the post office. We will not be responsible for any products lost or damaged in the post.

Our delivery prices are calculated per weight of order, but a general guidance on pricing is as follows:

1 x Shade 1st Class Royal Mail = £3.50

2 x Shades 1st Class Royal Mail = £4.00

1 x Shade 2nd Class Royal Mail = £2.50

2 x Shades 2nd Class Royal Mail = £3.50

1 x Shade Guaranteed Next Day Delivery = £7.95

2 x Shades Guaranteed Next Day Delivery = £10.00

Foldabrella and Mini Shelta = £6.00

Standard Shelta & Super Shelta = £10

These amounts will not be added automatically. Should you forget to choose the correct shipping option as requested the extra money will be added to your payment method.


Wholesale Terms and Conditions

To gain and maintain wholesale status you must agree to the following conditions:


Retailers must maintain a physical storefront or online business, and provide a valid Company Registration Number. Retailers must complete our Credit Application Form.


All orders will be sent via ShadeMe Ltd chosen courier companies.

ShadeMe Ltd does not have a minimum purchase requirement.


All orders will be issued a pro-forma invoice, unless otherwise agreed.  We accept paypal or bank transfer payments. If payment does not appear within 10 days your order will be cancelled and the goods re-allocated.


We reserve the right to adjust prices and specifications without notice except when an order has been fully paid for. All prices are subject to VAT

Copyright and Images

Copyright on all designs, illustrations, text, artworks and images remains ShadeMe Ltd and its associated companies and artists. No item (or part thereof) may be reproduced, loaned, deconstructed, published or copied. You may use images from our website for promotional purposes once you are an approved retailer. If you wish to request high-res images for other promotional purposes, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Sales Outlets

Products are sold under the agreement that they are not to be sold (wholesale or retail) in any outlet or website other than those specified in your application form. Permission must be sought to sell the goods at other outlets including any new shops or online stores that you subsequently open. ShadeMe Ltd  does not allow its products to be sold at online auction sites without written permission.


Any problems or discrepancies with an order must be reported in writing or by email within 5 days of receipt.

All Goods remain the property of ShadeMe Ltd until paid for in full
